Q. Write a dialogue in about six exchanges between two friends who are talking about celebrating the New Year. [6]
(Harry and James are in the school’s cafeteria chatting during their lunch.)
Harry: Hey! How’s your lunch?
James: Oh, it was bad. My mother put the same broccoli again.
Harry: Ah! That’s too bad, you don’t like broccoli. Try some of my fries.
James: Thanks! You can have my broccoli.
Harry: Great!
(Harry and James exchange some of their lunch.)
Harry: By the way, what’s your for the New Year’s?
James: This time we will be going to Dhulikhel.
Harry: Dhulikhel? Why? It sounds boring! Everybody goes there.
James: I know! But my parents said we will have a big family reunion. All my relatives will be there.
Harry: Ok! I see. That makes sense. Then I think you’ll enjoy it a lot with your bigger family.
James: I hope so (sighs). And what about you?
Harry: I don’t feel like doing anything this New Year’s day! I think I’ll just stay home and play Pubg.
James: Really? Man! You should do something different on that day. You play pubg all the time!
Harry: You’re right! I will have to think of something. Can I join your family for the New Year’s?
James: Why not? But let me ask my parents first. (The school bell rings.) Hey! there’s the bell. Talk to you later!
(Both of them go to their respective class.)
