Subject: Urgent Attention Needed: Unmanaged Garbage in Ratna Park
Dear Mr. Devkota,
I am writing to bring to your attention the messy garbage situation in our neighborhood that is causing some serious health hazards.
The garbage lying around is attracting bugs and making the air stink. It has been difficult for locals and visitors to breathe as the air is pungent. It’s not just gross; it can also spread diseases like dengue and cholera. As you know, recently we have had a major outbreak of dengue in the Naya Bus park area. If the garbage isn’t removed from the Ratna park area, there may be new cases of dengue from here as well. We need to act fast to clean up our area and keep everyone safe and healthy.
Additionally, since Ratna Park is at the heart of the city, the current garbage situation isn’t a welcoming image to the visitors. Both local and foreign visitors will avoid visiting Ratna Park which can affect the local economy. Not only that, it can cause the locals to view their area and themslves as inferior to others.
Here are some simple measures that can help to fix the problem:
- Get garbage picked up more often.
- Teach people about separating burnable and recycling trash.
- Make sure rules about garbage are followed, and there are consequences for breaking them.
- Have clean-up days where everyone pitches in to tidy up.
- Spray disinfectants in the garbage area after pickup.
Please, let’s work together to make our neighborhood a cleaner and safer place for everyone. Thank you for your time, and I hope we can get this issue resolved as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
Anita Ghale
