Nepal defeated Bhutan with a huge difference of 6-0 at the Kalyani Stadium in West Bengal, registering the third consecutive win in the ongoing matches of the SAFF 2019 Championship.

Nepal U15 men’s team captain, Pradeep Lamshal scored two goals for his team, which was followed by singles from Ashim Rai, Krish Sapkota, Niranian Kharti and Sugam Jimmi.

With the victory over Bhutan, Nepal has climbed higher on the points table with a total of 9 points. On the other hand, Bhutan has been ousted from the championship losing all its three matches.

Nepal’s fate now depends on the match between Bangladesh and India as Bangladesh has equal points to Nepal. If Bangladesh manages to defeat India by a big winning margin, then Nepal will make its way to the final before its match with India.

Winning captain who grabbed the best player of the match award said in the post-match conference that the team Nepal is ready for its next match with India which is to be held on 29th August.
