Dear Sagar,

I hope this letter finds you well. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the migration of youths and professionals from Nepal to foreign countries, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you. It’s disheartening to see so many talented individuals leaving our country every year in search of better opportunities abroad. While I understand their desire for a better future, I can’t help but feel concerned about the effects of this mass exodus from our nation.

One major consequence is the brain drain, where Nepal loses skilled workers and professionals, which impacts our economy and development. Additionally, the departure of young people deprives our country of its future leaders and innovators. However, I believe there are steps we can take to address these challenges.

Firstly, the government should focus on creating more job opportunities and improving working conditions to retain skilled workers within the country. Investing in education and vocational training programs can also empower youths and provide them with the skills needed for local employment.

I recently came across a news article discussing a similar issue faced by India. It highlighted the disparity between the high number of university graduates and the low number of individuals possessing practical skills required for the workforce. This difference shows why we need to focus on developing skills instead of just depending on academic qualifications. If Nepal can prioritize vocational training and skill-building initiatives, I believe many youths would remain and work here.

Secondly, it’s important to make the economy stronger, fight corruption, and make our infrastructure better to attract investments and help businesses grow. We should also encourage Nepali people living abroad to work together with local communities to make Nepal better.

I believe if we solve these problems and find good solutions, we can make migration less of a problem and make Nepal’s future better. I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter. Take care!

Warm regards,

Sameer
